Level 1 Courses

Start your robotic journey today!

This introductory course provides participants with the opportunity to develop and refine their robotic surgery skills through hands-on practice.

Using state-of-the-art simulators, participants will complete a series of structured exercises designed to build familiarity with the robotic system, improve hand-eye coordination, and enhance precision and efficiency in a controlled environment.

This course helps to provide practice necessary to pass the SERGS Level 1 Assesment of basic skills and also GESEA Robotic exam.

SERGS Level 1 courses

Agenda:

Participants will complete over 3,5 hours of hands-on robotic simulation training.

The program includes scheduled breaks with theoretical sessions aligned with the SERGS Level 1 – Assessment of Basic Skills, as well as coffee and lunch breaks.

Pre-congress course Stockholm, Sweden

Intermediate courses

Level 2 Intermediate Robotic Surgery Course

The SERGS Level 2 Intermediate Course at ORSI Academy is a comprehensive two-day training programme designed for surgeons in the early phase of their robotic surgery experience.

Delivered by an international faculty of experts, this course combines theory with intensive hands-on training to accelerate skill development and confidence in robotic gynaecological surgery.

Participants will benefit from a structured learning pathway that includes:

  • Simulation-based training
  • Dry lab exercises
  • Wet lab training with animal model surgery

The programme focuses on:

  • Developing core competencies in robotic gynaecology
  • Transitioning safely from basic to intermediate robotic skills
  • Understanding the fundamentals of building and implementing a robotic surgery programme

Who Should Attend

This course is ideal for surgeons who have completed their initial robotic training and are looking to progress in a controlled, expert-led environment.

Prerequisites

Completion of a recognised basic training programme is required:

  • SERGS Level 1, or
  • GESEA certification (basic robotic skills)

Train the trainer - online course

SERGS Certified Trainer_v3 (003)

The course is designed for SERGS Certified surgeons with previous experience in robotic education.

The SERGS Trainer the trainer course is a e-learning course consisting of 12 video modules each followed by a survey monkey questionnaire.

The course was created by the SERGS Past President Mr Thomas Ind.
